ABOUT ME

I'm your average God and Country loving dude with an intense passion for developing the next generation of our citizens.  I often quip that while sitting on the back porch the other day a mosquito bit me and flew off singing The Star Spangled Banner.

I've dedicated my career to youth development and have spent nearly two decades to youth civic development.  In fact, I founded the Georgia Center for Civic Engagement to address what I term the "civic literacy crisis" in my state.  In the words of George Takei: I'm a civic busy body and I have blessed with an active career.

I will use this blog as an opportunity to share my thoughts, research interests, resources, and to facilitate conversations.
